POSTPONED: GLAZEWORKS

We are currently working on rescheduling GLAZEWORKS for early June. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Join us for GLAZEWORKS to celebrate ceramics and get an introduction to glazing techniques in Fleisher’s historic Sanctuary space. Teaching artists Scott Cooper and Kay Nishii will lead this workshop and instruct you on simple but interesting glazing techniques for you to design and decorate your very own vessel. Registration is $25 per person and limited to a maximum of 50 people per session. Fleisher members receive a discount on registration.

All supplies are included. With your registration, you will receive access to:
One small vessel thrown by Scott Cooper and bisque fired here at Fleisher. This will be your “blank canvas” ready for you to decorate!
Various colored glazes
Stamps
Stencils
Kiln firing
Helpful Fleisher volunteers and faculty

Session two (all ages): Sunday, April 5, 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.

Session two is open to all ages and is sure to be fun for the whole family. Fleisher faculty and volunteers will be on site to assist the creative process, while you all learn more about ceramics and the glazing process. Snacks, beverages, and a photo booth will be available, too!

Please note, both sessions will require a return to Fleisher to pick up your final creation after it is fired in one of our kilns. We are inviting all registrants back to Fleisher for a pick up on Earth Day, Wednesday, April 22, where we will have your vases awaiting pick up with a “pop up flower shop” ready to fill your unique creation.
