Michelle Angela Ortiz: Activism, Social Change and the Artistic Imagination

Artist, filmmaker, activist and educator Michelle Angela Ortiz will speak about the function and impact of activism in her art, her life and our community. She will showcase some of her most recent work that deals with immigrants’ human rights and encourages visual healing through stories. Moderator Daniel Tucker from Moore College of Art & Design will join the conversation. This program will be conducted in English.
