Teen Lounge Teaching Artist RFP Ends
Fleisher’s Teen Lounge provides young people with opportunities to work with experienced Teaching Artists from around the region. Participating teens evaluate proposals submitted by Teaching Artists through the RFP (Request for Proposals) process.
The submission deadline is Monday, May 6, for projects in September-November 2019. Students will be selecting five visiting artists, who are compensated up to $600 for four sessions with a supply budget of $150. Additional artists may be considered for one- or two-day workshop opportunities. After submitting a proposal, artists attend a mandatory proposal review fair scheduled for Monday, February 11, to meet Teen Lounge students and present their project ideas. Students then vote to select which projects to run in the fall.
