The Vision of Guest Artist José Ortiz-Pagán

Please join guest artist José Ortiz-Pagán in conversation with Selina Morales, a Philadelphia-based public folklorist, along with members of La Calaca Flaca committee to discuss the concept for this year’s celebrations. From José’s creation (a ceremonial dress named El Vínculo) to his vision, we will address this wonderful experience including the challenges this year presented. We will also review the highlights of the procession scheduled fo Saturday, November 7, at 3:00 p.m.

All Día de los Muertos events are free and open to the public, but advanced registration is required. All events will be held virtually on Zoom.
